Day 1: Arusha – Machame Gate – Machame Camp
After breakfast in Arusha, drive to Machame Gate for registration. Begin your trek through the lush rainforest, surrounded by giant trees and rich birdlife before reaching Machame Camp.
Overnight: Machame Camp

Day 2: Machame Camp – Shira Camp
Leave the rainforest behind and ascend into the moorland zone. Enjoy spectacular views of Mount Meru and the Shira Plateau as you hike toward Shira Camp.

Day 3: Shira Camp – Lava Tower – Barranco Camp
Climb gradually to Lava Tower for acclimatization before descending into the beautiful Barranco Valley. This important acclimatization day helps prepare your body for higher elevations.

Day 4: Barranco Camp – Karanga Camp
Conquer the famous Barranco Wall and continue across ridges and valleys to Karanga Camp. Enjoy stunning views of Kibo Peak throughout the day.

Ascend through alpine desert terrain to Barafu Camp, your base camp for the summit attempt. Rest, enjoy an early dinner, and prepare for the midnight climb.

Begin your summit push shortly after midnight. Reach Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa, and celebrate your achievement before descending to Mweka Camp.
Overnight: Mweka Camp
Descend through the rainforest to Mweka Gate where you receive your summit certificate. Transfer back to Arusha for relaxation and celebration.
